A true Indian at heart, an avid traveller and an unapologetic admirer of diversity that India exudes, Purnima is passionate about telling stories - some known and some unknown. She started her career by working with a well known seaside retreat in the virgin northern part of Kerala and then went on to work with some more well known completely offbeat hotels panning out all over India, Nepal, and Bhutan. Soon she took on a journey through the length and breadth of the Indian sub-continent to explore and have a better understanding of the diversification of her land.
Since the beginning of her career in tourism, she has been fortunate to work with only the most attentively and thoughtfully curated projects and properties, which made her understand the pulse of tourism in India- the local community.

A Sloka is a verse of lines in Sanskrit, typically recited as a prayer.
A "W" has been added to the word to create an ambiance for Slow travel, art, food, experience and life. A life which is not rushed.

The wheel in place of an "O" is the wheel of time, which represents timelessness, stillness and movement at the same time. The wheel of time, which takes you on a journey outward and inward.
Slowka is an attempt to showcase experiences that are meaningful, immersive and expressive.
